Instec Ultrahigh-Temperature Probe Station

This probe station is specifically design to perform measurements of semiconductor devices at extremely high temperatures.

The lab uses this equipment to assess the high-temperature stability of ultra-wide bandgap transistors.

Specific features include:

  • 4 DC probes for measurements up to 1000 oC
  • 2 50 GHz RF probes for measurements up to 800 oC
  • High-vacuum turbo pump
  • Water cooling and optical microscope
